Carnicus

This enormous arthropod has a hard exoskeleton made of chiton, which is a protein. They have a single pair of big claws which they use to catch their prey. When they catch their prey they bury themselves in the sand, they have a large horn like structure protruding from their head with holes in them. These holes are actually their nostrils. They are able to breathe under the sand as this part will stick out above the surface.
