Monoceros

This creature design is part of my Legendary Creatures book project for my studies.

The monoceros is a big ungulate, it has one big blackish horn in the middle of its forehead, which can reach up to 1 meter in length. The horn is mainly hollow, therefore it is not as heavy as it looks and it can easily hold it up in the air. Its body is covered by thick armour plates which protects it from predators. Despite the armour they can run up to 55 km/h.
